Two hours later, the team manager for Cruz Pedregon Racing posted to Facebook again.

NHRA's 1981 Top Fuel champion Jeb Allen wanted to repay a favor to his longtime friend Don Schumacher for extending an opportunity for his son to work for the motorsport giant.

Instead of accepting any monetary reimbursement for himself, Schumacher encouraged Allen to donate to one of the charities Don Schumacher Racing promotes, the Make A Wish Foundation.

Allen made a $10,000 donation, and $490,000 later, he's still repaying the favor.

California native Blake Alexander brought home the second Top Fuel victory of his career in front of a sellout crowd at the 31st annual Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals at Sonoma Raceway.

On Saturday, Anderson moved into a tie with the legendary Bob Glidden for third on the all-time top qualifier award list, earning his 102nd top spot and ninth of the season at the 31st annual Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals at Sonoma Raceway.

Matt Smith raced to his first career NHRA Mickey Thompson Tires Pro Bike Battle win during the Toyota NHRA Nationals at Sonoma Raceway on Saturday. Smith earned a $25,000 payday in the all-star bonus race featuring eight top riders in the Pro Stock Motorcycle category.
