2017 SUPER CHEVY SHOW ADDS TWO NEW LOCATIONS

The Super Chevy Show will expand its geographic footprint in 2017 by hosting events at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Phoenix, and Thunder Valley Raceway Park serving the Oklahoma City market. A total of 12 event dates are already secured for the season that begins in May. The Super Chevy Show will focus on popular car shows, drag racing, swap meet, and car corral activities for participants and fans alike.

An average of 1,000 participants per show compete at the Super Chevy Show events for awards and prizes. To many participants the prestige of winning their class in the car show or bracket race is the most rewarding. For others it is about having the best restored show car or racing exhibition vehicle that gets aired on the Menards Chevy Series TV show.

IN 2017, IT’S STREET OUTLAWS, PRO MODS, HEMIS AND HOT RODS AT ROCKINGHAM

Rockingham Dragway’s reputation for diversity won’t lose any of its luster this year with track owner Steve Earwood’s announcement of a 63-event schedule that includes a little bit of everything – from a Perdue Farms company picnic to a Rugged Maniacs 5k obstacle race to the return of the American Drag Racing League Pro Mod Series.

Nevertheless, Earwood is most excited about his track’s new affiliations with the Modern Hemi Shootout Series, which makes its Rockingham debut in May, the stars of the wildly popular Street Outlaws TV series, who will be featured in events in April and October, and the International Drag Bike League, which will contest its World Finals on a November date that will provide the world’s fastest street bikes a platform for record-breaking performance.
