Ron Capps has won a lot of races in a lot of different places.

He is the second-winningest Funny Car driver in NHRA history, he has nearly 600 round wins to his credit, he has contended in nearly 100 finals. But of all of those wins, Summit Motorsports Park in northern Ohio was not on that list.

It has taken a while, but Shawn Langdon appears to finally found his groove at Don Schumacher Racing.

Langdon, who joined DSR during the 2015 Countdown to the Championship, won his second race in a row, his latest victory came Sunday at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

Eddie Krawiec had quite the adventurous Sunday at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

Krawiec ended his semifinal and final runs in the sand trap at the top end, but he could smile about the mishaps as he won the event.

After two consecutive runner-up finishes, Pro Stock driver Trevor Eman earned the first IHRA Drag Racing Series victory of his career today at the IHRA Mopar Canadian Nationals presented by Williams Racing.  Jay Turner (Nitro Motorcycle), Mark Sanders (AMSOIL Nitro Funny Car) and Billy Harper (Pro Mod) also won their respective titles at Grand Bend Motorplex.

Eman was the runner up at both the IHRA Good Vibrations Texas Nationals in April and last week's President's Cup Nationals in Mechanicsville, Md.  He defeated J.R. Carr in the final round - it was the third time in as many years that Carr and Eman met in the Mopar Canadian Nationals final round.

Veteran Top Alcohol Funny Car racer Steve Harker continues to undergo surgery at Toledo’s Mercy St. Vincent Hospital for injuries he incurred in a high-speed accident Saturday during the Summit Racing Equipment Nationals at Norwalk, Ohio.

Ron Capps continued his mid-season dominance with his fourth Funny Car win of 2016 at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park.

Shawn Langdon (Top Fuel), Jason Line (Pro Stock) and Eddie Krawiec (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also were winners of the 12th NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events of the season in Norwalk, Ohio.
