Mooresville Dragway, known in many circles as "Race City USA” will host more than its fair share of heads-up, outlaw racing in 2009.

The
featured Outlaw Mad Dawgs is one of those marquee divisions that will
be back for their fourth season of racing joined by two new classes.
Extreme 10.5 and the Piedmont Renegades (Dirty Mo style) will join the
line-up of classes being offered.

In a joint venture, Cottrell Motorsports, led by Len Cottrell, and W2 Motorsports, led by John Wilson
and Bob Weickgenannt, have signed DoDealz.com, a leader in hard-money
lending (fast-turnaround, low-documentation, short-term lending) to
real-estate investors and wholesalers, to a one-year major-sponsorship
agreement for their Top Alcohol Dragster operation. The team will
represent DoDealz.com at 10 races on the NHRA Lucas Oil and Full
Throttle Drag Racing Series.

The 28th Annual Funny Car Fever is back April 24th - 25th at Sacramento
Raceway Park. 619 Promotions has added a new marketing partner in
Mickey Thompson Performance Tire and Wheels.

The former GM engineer and electronic fuel injection pioneer will publicly debut his new 2010 Martin M4 coupe in Pro Modified competition, later this week, during an organized test session in Valdosta, Ga.
