Reigning Top Alcohol Dragster Champion Megan Meyer has announced her plans to retire at the conclusion of the 2020 NHRA season. Meyer plans to focus on her upcoming marriage, starting a family, and her marketing business after stepping away.
Meyer won the 2019 Top Alcohol Dragster Championship for Randy Meyer Racing in the NGK Spark Plugs A/Fuel Dragster. The second-generation driver made the announcement just days before the prestigious U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis in Brownsburg, Indiana.

The Bandimere family, owners of Bandimere Speedway, has been in court battles this summer with officials from the Jefferson County Health Department.
