PRO TOP OUTLAWS OPEN SEASON

When the Pro Top Outlaw Series begins its 6th
season this year, the racing action is expected to be stronger than ever.  New
sponsors, new members, and new tracks have been secured in the off-season and
they will all come together to put on a show which is unlike anything else
offered today.  The series, which is a step up from Top Dragster and not quite
Top Alcohol, is comprised of dragsters, altereds, and funny cars, either blower
or nitrous, all racing heads-up against one another.  And on May 12th
of this year, PTO will break new ground when the season opening Bluegrass
Nationals will be filmed by Inside Drag Racing with Bob Frey announcing the
event.

“The members help each other.  We’ve got blowers and
nitrous; dragsters, altereds, and funny cars.  Because the tracks can get
tricky, the fastest car doesn’t always win.  No dial-ins, no lifting before the
lights, no throttle stops and it doesn’t take a years pay to get into it.  Isn’t
that the way drag racing is supposed to be,” said Ron Bales, President of PTO.

ADRL HOUSTON - FINAL RESULTS

ADRL's Dragpalooza III Finishes with
Three First-Time Winners

75169102.jpg The Flowmaster American Drag Racing League's 2007
season-opener at Houston Motorsports Park finished Saturday night with three
first-time ADRL event winners. Reaching the RacingJunk.com Dragpalooza III
winner's circle were Mike Bell in Pro Extreme; Charles Carpenter in Pro Nitrous;
and Rodney Rosenstiel, who became the first event winner in Extreme 10.5, which
made its competitive ADRL debut at Dragpalooza III.

Bell entered
Saturday's eliminations well down on the final qualifying sheet, but he found
something extra in eliminations, beating three of the top four qualifiers on the
way to his debut event win. Starting from the No. 9 spot after a 3.956 best left
him just short of gaining lane choice, Bell reeled off wins over Mike Neal (3.93
to 4.21), No. 1 qualifier Todd Tutterow (with a 4.73 in a race where both
drivers struggled), Joshua Hernandez (a spectacular 3.93 to 3.92 holeshot), and,
in the final, a red-lighting John Lynam.

RACE FANS, DRIVERS RAISE MONEY FOR CHAIRTY

Forty lucky race fans  not only got to mingle with top stars from the NHRA
POWERade Drag Racing  Series on Saturday, but they also supported a great cause
at the sold-out 5th  annual NHRA Tour de Charity at the Infineon Raceway Karting
Center.

The event, which coupled race fans  with top NHRA
drivers for a day of karting on the raceway’s challenging  course, raised
$13,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities, bringing the  five-year total for the
event to more than $50,000. Speedway Children’s  Charities is the charitable arm of
Infineon Raceway, with all proceeds raised  during the year benefiting qualified
youth organizations in Sonoma County.   Star NHRA drivers Ron Capps (Brut
Dodge Funny Car), Cory McClenathan (Carrier Boyz FRAM Boost Top Fuel Dragster),
Gary Scelzi (Mopar/Oakley Dodge Funny Car) and Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Matt
Guidera (Rocklin Harley-Davidson Buell) swapped paint with the fans over the
 challenging road course.

threw down an early gauntlet to the rest of the Pro Extreme class with
a spectacular 3.89-second pass to easily grab the top spot. Entering
Saturday's final two rounds of qualifying, he is three-hundredths in
front of Bobby Booth, who led a group of four other drivers to reach
the 3-second zone. Included in that group is No. 5 Steve Engel, who
posted the top speed of the session at 187.97 mph.

IHRA WORLD NATIONALS RESCHEDULED

The IHRA World Nationals, set to debut at the
brand new Mansfield Motorsports Park, has been rescheduled for September 21-23,
2007. While the track is still
planning to open in June, IHRA and Mansfield Motorsports Park officials made the decision to move the event to the
fall to ensure that every detail of the project met the standards that the
racers and fans expect.

Governmental issues prevented construction from taking
place in the unseasonably warm fall and early winter months
Ohio experienced. The project was still well ahead of
schedule until the February snow and cold halted progress.

“The plan was to get a jump on construction and stay
ahead of the timeline,” Mansfield Motorsports Park owner Mike Dzurilla said. “Delays have put us in a
situation where everything would have to go perfectly from now on for us to be
ready for the race. Quite honestly I don’t want to welcome anyone to our first
IHRA national event without having everything perfect. I know a lot of racers
and fans are counting on me to build a facility every one can be proud of and I
don’t plan on disappointing them.”
