Renowned Pro Stock clutch specialist Terry Adams has been hired to work with
Warren Johnson's GM Performance Parts Pontiac GTO and son Kurt Johnson's ACDelco
Chevrolet Cobalt for the upcoming 2007 NHRA POWERade season.

After a lengthy
prosecution, Michael Goodwin was found guilty of ordering the killings of
Mickey and Trudy Thompson. Goodwin was found guilty on two charges of murder in
a Los Angeles
courtroom.

Goodwin had been in jail
for five years awaiting trail. It took only six days of deliberations for the
guilty verdicts. The expected sentence is life without parole.

The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association has announced Marc Meadors as its new
company President. Meadors, 39, assumed his new role January 2nd. He
replaces his father, company founder Gary Meadors, who will now serve as
Goodguys Chairman. In his new role as Goodguys President, Marc Meadors will
manage and oversee all phases and the future direction of Goodguys.

A “car guy” since his very early
childhood, Meadors has been around the rod & custom culture his entire life.
He was one of the first-ever Goodguys staff employees, starting his tenure with
the family business back in 1985 as soon as he graduated from San Ramon Valley
high school in Danville, CA. He’s been with the company ever since, but stepped
away briefly in 1993 to start “Goodtimes Enterprises” – a highly successful
import car show circuit. He returned to Goodguys in 1995 as Chief Operating
Officer – a position he held until his recent promotion to the Goodguys
Presidency.

This year the D.R.A.W. tournament will be appropriately names “Racer
Appreciation” Golf Tournament.” The 4-scramble style golf tournament will take
place on Wednesday, March 14th at Ironwood Golf Course located close
to Gainesville Raceway in Gainesville, Florida.

Champion sport compact racer Marty Ladwig will unleash a new race car for the
2007 NHRA season as the 13-time NHRA winner eyes a third championship and hopes
to become the first Front Wheel Drive racer to clock a six-second
elapsed time. Ladwig will compete
exclusively on the NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Racing
Series.

The 2007 Lucas Oil-sponsored
Chevrolet Cobalt will feature a full tube-chassis from S&W and will be
completed by Roush Industries. It will be powered by a 2.0-liter Ecotec engine
with a Garrett GT 45 turbocharger. The motor will run on Methanol and should
produce nearly 1,500 horsepower.

Ron Meer Motorsports (RMM) has announced that they will have Sean
Bellemeur drive the Meer Homes Inc. Top Alcohol Funny Car. Bellemeur, a
25 year old second generation driver from Fullerton, CA will take over
the controls of the car with his sights set on the Lucas Oil Pacific
Division 7 Championship and the National Title. “To say I’m excited is
an understatement!” said Sean who spent the last three seasons driving
a funny car with his family. “It is going to be a lot of fun to work so
closely with such talents of the sport. I know I am going to learn a
lot and I really feel that we have a potent recipe to compete with the
best in the country.”

Quain Stott plans to leave no stone unturned during the 2006 season.
