ENDERS SIGNS NEW SPONSOR

It didn't take second-year Pro Stock racer
Erica Enders long to secure a major sponsor for her new racing operation,
signing food, nutrition, and beverage company Revive USA as the primary backer
of her Dodge Stratus R/T for the remainder of the season with a three-year
option. The team will debut its' new Revive USA Dodge Stratus R/T at this
weekend's 21st annual O'Reilly NHRA Fall Nationals in Dallas.

MOPAR ENGINEERING MANAGER GREG REEVES PASSES

Mopar mourns the
passing of Greg Reeves, Engineering Manager for Dodge Motorsports and Mopar
Performance Parts. Reeves suffered an apparent heart attack at his Michigan home on Sunday,
September 17. He is survived by his wife Rosemary, his daughters Jamie and
Jennifer, and his son, Justin.  He also had a granddaughter, Sydney.

SHARON RAMLOW NAMED IHRA DIRECTOR OF OPERATION

Sharon Ramlow, who has been operations
coordinator at the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) for two years, has
been promoted to IHRA director of operations. Her new duties will include
overseeing financial and logistic details pertaining to all IHRA national events
as well as planning and executing the annual IHRA champion’s banquet.

“We are very excited to have Sharon move into this position,” IHRA President
Aaron Polburn said.

VICTOR BRAY DOMINATES AUTRALIAN NATIONALS

Six-time Australian Top Doorslammer
champion Victor Bray continued his charge towards a seventh title by winning the
rain-interrupted Australian Nationals at Queensland’s Willowbank Raceway. Victor
now leads the race for the 2006/07 championship by 45 points after two of seven
rounds.

Team Bray dominated the event, with Ben Bray leading qualifying
with a pass of 6.056-seconds at 241.81 mph, and Victor breaking the world speed
record with a mighty charge of 245.77 mph in the first qualifying session.

DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

Competition Plus wishes to correct
and clarify some information concerning notes we posted from last
weekend's American Drag Racing League event Dragstock III at Rockingham Dragway
in North Carolina. 

After reviewing our notes, we discovered that we had
misinterpreted the comments of Flowmaster Vice-President Richard Small. In
reference to the large attendance, Small was quoted as saying, "We need to
find a place that will hold the crowd." However, track owner Steve Earwood said
Small had "raved about this event

BOB GILBERTSON TO CONCENTRATE ON WINNING IHRA FUNNY CAR TITLE IN 2006

Gilbertson and his Autolite XP Spark Plugs team will skip the next two NHRA
races (Dallas this weekend and the rescheduled Reading, Pa. event the following
weekend) so that he can compete in the two conflicting IHRA races in Canada and
Maryland with hopes of winning the IHRA eMax World Championship.

Gilbertson is currently third in the IHRA points standings and
only 24 points out of the lead and believes that he's got a very good chance of
winning the title.

BOB GLIDDEN AND DICK MASKIN PART WAYS

Torco's CompetitionPlus.com has
confirmed that team owner Dick Maskin and Bob Glidden parted ways as of 3 PM
today. Both parties involved agree the reasoning for the split was just a
difference of opinion and chose to leave it at that.

"I cherish the experience that I had to work with Bob and I
learned a lot from him," Maskin said. "He is a talented individual."

Maskin said Glidden tendered his resignation.
