SATURDAY - KEEP UP WITH TODAY'S ACTION THROUGH OUR LIVE UPDATES

Alex Hossler lays down another 3.73 pass and he needed every bit of it to beat Quain Stott, who ran a 3.75 in the Pro Extreme final round.  This is the first win for Alex and could be the quickest side by side door slammer pass in ADRL history.

Al-Balooshi is trying to complete the double up in the Pro Nitrous final against Charles Carpenter.  Carpenter left first but his 3.98 had nothing for Al-Abooshi who ran a record setting 3.81 at 196 for the win.

Spiro Pappas runs a 3.92 in the Extreme 10.5 class final but was taken down on a hole shot.  Ulsch runs a 3.94 but left before Pappas and gets the win.

Extreme Pro Stock final is won by Cary Goforth by running a 4.06.  Scott Hintz runs a nice 4.15 but it is not enough to take down Goforth.

In a close battle in the semi-final of Pro Extreme Alex Hossler lays down a 3.73 to take the win over Kelly Martin's 3.77.  In the other matchup Tutterow had to pedal it to a 4.13 and that was all it took for Stott's 3.75 at 206 mph.  Hossler will have lane choice over Stott in the final and it seems to make a difference.

Halsey loses power in the Pro Nitrous final and sends Carpenter into the final.  Charles ran a 3.99 to take the win.  In the other matchup Castellana runs a 3.93 against Al-Abooshi but it was not enough to take the win.  Al-Abooshi runs a 3.83 and sets the mph record with a 196 mph.  They are cleaning something off the track after Halsey's pass.

Spiro Pappas sets the Extreme 10.5 record at a 3.92 at 193 mph to take out Gary White who ran a 4.04.  Jeff Naiser gets timed out and Ulsch runs a 3.97 and the finals will be a rematch of the Battle of the Belt finals.

Local Texas racer Scott Hintz is having a very fortunate day and now will face Cary Goforth in the final round.  The last two races have gone red against Scott and his ET in the last round was a 5.38.  He will need some more luck to get his minute man trophy with Goforth running a 4.09 to take lane choice.

IMG_7445

When you get to the semi finals and finals there is not a lot of time for the turn around.  Alex Hossler’s crew was performing their routine maintance and feel good going into the next round.  They have been very consistent running 3.77, 3.77 and a 3.75 in the last round.

IMG_7446

Halsey slowed down in the last round and was not the quickest car in the round.  They were looking to take car of that and were diving into the clutch to get back on top.  There are only four cars left with two Al Anabi cars along with Halsey and Carpenter.

IMG_7449

There was a lot of action in Castellana’s pits.  Everyone seemed pretty busy so I did not get a chance to find out what the problem was, but they even had women getting dirty working on the car.  Looks like they were going over the clutch also.

Alex Hossler starts the Pro Extreme class with a 3.75 to take out Von Smith.  Von slowed this round with a 3.85.  Kelly Martin moves on to the next round with another 3.80 to take out Ken Thomas.  Wes Johnston lays down the fastest pass of the round with a 3.74, but Tutterow, also know as champ, got him on the tree and took the win with a 3.80.  In the last pair of round two Stott runs a stout 3.75 at 205 to take out Stanton.

Pro Nitrous starts out with Charles Carpenter taking the win over Pat Stoken with a 3.98.  Stoken slowed to a 4.06.  Weatherford got loose and Castellanna ran another 3.92.  Al-Balooshi and Auxier have a rematch of the finals in the Battle of the Belts and the result is the same.  Al-Balooshi takes the win with a 3.85.  Halsey is the only one that takes the right line and it pays off for him running a 3.86 and taking out Stan Allen.

Extreme 10.5 is getting ultra tight in the second round.  Gary White takes out Dan Millen with a 4.01 and Millen breaks on the line.  Jeff Paulk does one hell of a driving job keeping the car off the wall and staying in it to run a 4.08.  The only problem was it was not enough to take out Naiser’s 4.03.  Ulsch is the only one taking the left lane and it pays off with the fastest 10.5 pass ever with a 3.94 at 202.  Doak was on a nice pass with a 4.15 but had nothing for Ulsch.  In the last race in the second round Michael Neal made his quickest pass ever with a 4.02 but he was racing Pappas and it was not enough.  Spiro runs a 3.96 like a bracket car.

Round 2 in Extreme Pro Stock saw only one upset when Dean Goforth went red and proceeded to run a record setting 4.050 to Hintz slower 4.16.  Hintz did a good driving job with the car right up next to the wall most of the way down the track.  Bruno ran a 4.12 to take out Yonke.  Cary Goforth took out Patrick with a hole shot victory.  Patrick ran a 4.077 to Goforth’s 4.080. Cary will have a bye into the final round.

DSA_7403

The first pair of cars in Pro Extreme, Stanton and Wiley head to the centerline together.  Stanton pedals it quicker to get down with a 4.07 and the win.  The next pair Stanley has trouble and Kelly Martin runs a nice 3.80 for the win.  Von Smith runs a 3.74 at 205 to take out the small block car of Gene Hector.  Mike Bell is taking Hamstra spot against Tutterow.  Todd runs 3.80 to take the win.  Cody Barklege had to pedal it and slowed to a losing 3.99 against Ken Thomas’s 3.91.  Joey Martin gets sideway and hands the win to Alex Hossler who runs a 3.75.  Wes Johnston runs a 3.87 at 206 to take out the National Guard car of Travis Swearingen.  In the final run of the first round Stott takes out D’Aprile with a 3.77.

DSB_3008The sixteen cars in the Pro Nitrous class is a tight field separated less then two tenths.  Stan Allen is making only the second pass in his old car this weekend and it picked up to run a 3.92.  That was good enough to take out Pierce’s 3.99.  Terry Murphy had a red light to send Weatherford in to the next round.  Riesterer made his best pas of the weekend with a 3.92 but it was not enough to get around Auxier’s 3.87.  Castellana takes out Deflorian with a 3.87.  Stoken lays down his best pass of the weekend with a 3.89 that was all over the track.  It was enough to take out Vick who had trouble getting down the track.  Carpenter upsets Rickie Smith who had trouble getting down the track.  Carpenter ran a 4.03 for the win.  Al-Balooshi is on a roll this weekend and takes out Pilcher with a 3.87.  Looks like all of the Al-Anabi cars have the 3.87 tune up in them, which was low for the round until Halsey ran.  Halsey lays down a new record with a 3.82 to take out Housley.  Not sure how seriously the damage is but he was shooting sparks out going down the track and there was some clean up after his pass.

DSB_2799

There are a couple of alternates in the Extreme 10.5 class with Todd Moyer and Nick Williams filling those spots.  In the first pass Kenny Doak steps up a little more and lays down to take out Kevin Allen’s small block car.  The next matchup is a couple of NMCA racers squaring off in Billy Glidden and Dan Millen.  Dan got a single when Billy was pushed off for leaking fluid on the track.  Dan looked to be on a great pass when it got loose and he got out for a 4.50.  Jeff Naiser takes out Michelle Wilson with a 4.04.  Paulk takes out Moyer with a 4.06.  Moyer looked to be on a pass when he drifted towards the wall and he got out of it.  Tony Wilson turned on the red light and Titan takes the win with a 4.05.  In the next pass Pappas slows down with 189 mph but still lays down a 3.95 to take out Shortridge.  Ulsch takes out the last alternate Brown with a 3.97.

DSA_7620

There were several upsets in the first round of Extreme Pro Stock.  The first Pair was Patrick running a 4.09 to Gahm’s 4.08 with Robert getting the win on the hole shot.  Hintz takes out Collins with a 4.14.  Kirk got close to the wall and gave the win to Bruno who ran a 4.13.  Morton ran a 4.08 but was late on the tree and fell to Yonke who ran a 4.13.  Dean Goforth got a broken bye and laid down a 4.08.  Cary Goforth put a hole shot win with a 4.088 to Jeff Dobbins 4.081.  This was Jeff’s first pass in the car that had been driven by Matt Hartford.

IMG_7440

Johnny Pilcher showed up with a brand new Haas 68 Camaro for the first time.  Johnny has been working out the new car blues, but they got them figured out just in time.  He got the 15 spot with a 4.02 and I expect them to go a little quicker in the next round.

Going through the pits I saw the Jake Carlton crew packing up to head home.  I was informed they hurt the engine more then they could fix here at the track.  I also heard something about SCREW the nitrous.  Sounds like they will have a power adder change in their future. They were qualified number seven with a 4.13, so Nick Williams is the next alternate.

IMG_7439

Cody Barklege went to the number one qualifying spot in the last round of qualifying but it looked like they had some issues before he went through the lights.  After checking their pit I noticed a broken blower belt and the appeared to be working on the clutch for first round of eliminations.

IMG_7437

I mentioned earlier that Steve Gorman had trouble in his Extreme 10.5 Viper.  Steve made the field but I don’t think he will be making the call for round one.  The fire cause a decent amount of damage to the hood scoop and there was no one working on the car in the pits.

IMG_7441

Not sure what the issue was for the Mobley camp was but they were working on the bottom end of the BAE power plant in their Camaro.  It looks like they got the issue fixed because they are in the lanes for first round of eliminations.

Kenny Knowling is down on the track interviewing Jason Hamstra right now.  Jason says he is pretty sore but feeling better.  We are all happy to hear he is doing so well!

Pro Extreme is a battle of two cars not in the field between Joshua Hernadez and Todd Tutterow.  Todd makes a nice lap with a 3.86 to take the title for 2009.  Josh had trouble from the hit and did not make it in the field.

Pro Nitrous is an all Al Anabi final in the Battle for the Belts.   Not only that Al-Abooshi is not in the field for the race today. Auxier had a red light and gave the Belt to Al-Abooshi.  Not only did he get the win he runs 3.90 at 192 and jumps to the top half of the field also.

Extreme 10.5 Belt is taken by Spiro Pappas running a 3.95 at 192 and he left first on Chuck Ulsch.  Chuck ran a 3.98 at 201 and was coming hard on the big end but did not have enough.  This is a fitting end to Spiro's season after crashing another car and this one being on fire three times.

Extreme Pro Stock Belt winner is Matt Hartford in his Chevy Cobalt in his last pass in the car for Dingman Racing.  Matt left first and ran a 4.102 to Gahm's 4.104 in a great race to start the Battle.

DSA_7446

The Pro Extreme class had a much tighter field with a bump spot of 4.08 for the 16 car field.  Kelly and Joe Martin both step up and run in the 3.8 range to get in the field.  Gene Hector steps up big time and runs the quickest pass by a small block car in ADRL with a 3.83 and moves solidly in the field also.  Cody Barklage went to the number one spot with a 3.76, but not sure it will stand up.  Alex Hossler runs another 3.77 in the last pair and stays in the number two spot.  Just two of the big hitters not making the field are champ Jason Scruggs and Mike Janis.

IMG_7432

We are still working through the almost 50 cars in the Pro Extreme class now.  I took a second to check out behind the tower and noticed the traffic backed up down the highway just out side the track.  I am willing to bet it will only be getting worse over the next 6 hours or so.  Word is the ADRL met with the locals to get this worked out but they did not take any of the steps they talked about and they are paying for it now.   Battle of the Belts should be up soon.

DSA_7651

Pro Nitrous bump spot started at a pretty soft 6.70 for all of the hitters that are here.  The bump took a big hit in the final round with racers really getting a hold of the track.  Dave Peirce ran his first three second pass with a 3.98.  Steve Vick stepped up with a 3.95 along with Rickie Smith with a 3.94.  Mike Castellana steps up to number 2 with a 3.92.  Stan Allen put the car they just picked up back in the trailer and pulled out their old car and laid down a 3.98 to get in the field.  The bump spot is now a 4.19 but if I heard right Al-Balooshi is not in the field yet and will have a shot in the finals of the Battle of the Belts.

DSA_7936

Final qualifying is done for Extreme 10.5 and the bump spot 4.53.  Todd Moyer had trouble getting enough power out to get down the track and did not make the field.

Steve Gorman just had a fire on the big end and we are down again for clean up.  Looks like Steve is out of the car and ok.

Just now back under way after another lengthy oil down.

BG_Trans

Billy Glidden got beat by Chuck Ulsch last night in the Battle of the Belts, but he still has another qualification round to run before eliminations begin.  Looks like Billy was making a transmission change.  He is looking for a little more ET to keep up with Ulsch and Pappas.

Parts_Sale

Most of the racers sell t-shirts to bring in a little extra income.  We all know it is not much compared to what these racers spend but it is also a way fans can show their support.  I have noticed several racers are selling broken and used parts for a little extra cash.  Here is a shot of Alex Hossler’s used burst panels, valves and pistons he has for sale.

Scruggs_1

Jason Scruggs had a wild ride last night and did one hell of a job of keeping the damage minimal.  Looks like the team spent a couple of hours taping up the damage up and replacing a bent front wheel.  The team is all ready for their final qualifying pass and for eliminations.

Scruggs_2

Stagging_Lanes

They are underway with the last round of qualifying now and working on the bikes now.  You can see just a few of the classes in the lanes here but we are still waiting on the Pro Nitrous and Pro Extreme cars to show up.  At the end of the last qualifying round they will run all the finals for the Battle of the Belts.

crowds

The weather is much nicer today with warmer temps, shining sun, but we still have a cross wind.  The crowds are rolling in the gates and the cars are backed up to get in the parking lot.  It is looking to shape up for a great day of racing.

QUALIFYING SUSPENDED UNTIL SATURDAY

xps
Cary Goforth leads the Extreme Pro Stock division after two qualifying sessions with a 4.067 elapsed time at 177.23 miles per hour.
The Extreme 10.5, Pro Extreme Motorcycle and Extreme Pro Stock classes completed two rounds of qualifying on Friday at the LenMar Motorsports ADRL World Finals V, but the Pro Nitrous and Pro Extreme guys were able to fit in only one round before a lengthy clean up for Jason Hamstra’s crash in the last pair of Speedtech Battle for the Belts semis put an end to qualifying for the day.

Qualifying will resume at noon on Saturday, with XTF, PXM and XPS to complete a third round before their fields are set, but the PN and PX teams will lose Friday night’s session completely and will be seeded based only on the results of two qualifying passes.

All finals for the Speedtech Battle for the Belts will be completed at the close of Pro Extreme qualifying, though the runs for all Belts finalists will count toward their final qualifying position. In other words, no one still in championship contention will get a pass on the track prior to their final Speedtech Battle for the Belts elimination round.

xtf
Chuck Ulsch stormed to the top spot in XTF with a 3.953, 202.85. He is still in championship contention and will face Spiro Pappas for the world championship title.

px
Quain Stott leads the incomplete Pro Extreme qualifying with a 3.762, 204.20 after one full session.

pn
Jim Halsey proved a record-setting nightmare to the Pro Nitrous division with a 3.859, 195.48. He was eliminated in a semi-final match with Burton Auxier when his Camaro belched a fireball through the hood scoop halfway into the run.

HAMSTRA UPDATE - The ADRL has reported that tests showed that Jason Hamstra, the Pro Extreme racer whose accident ended Friday's racing, had no concussion, no broken bones and only some bruising after going through one of the most violent accidents in series’ history.

“All the safety equipment did its job and protected Jason from any serious harm,” ADRL President Kenny Nowling said. “They’re keeping him in a private room overnight for observation, but we left him in good spirits and other than an elevated heart rate, he appeared almost back to normal, which is good news for everyone.”

FRIDAY - HAMSTRA INVOLVED IN FINISH LINE ACCIDENT; TRANSPORTED TO LOCAL HOSPITAL VIA HELICOPTER

hamstra
Just moments after Roger Richards snapped this starting line shot, Jason Hamstra lost control of his Camaro and careened across the track in front of Josh Hernandez, striking the wall. There was no contact with the wall and Hamstra was transported via helicopter to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Pro Extreme racer Jason Hamstra was involved in a finish line accident during the semi-final round of the ADRL Battle for the Belts competition at the Len-Mar World Finals.

Hamstra's supercharged Camaro was racing in the right lane of the Texas Motorplex when his car drifted right, out of the groove, and abruptly shot across the track impacting the retaining wall head-on. The car came to a stop in the shutdown area and missed opponent Joshua Hernandez when he crossed over into the left lane.

"He was extracted from the car and it appears at this point he is just bruised up," said Ian Tocher, ADRL VP of Publications. "As a precaution, they are going to take him out via helicopter -- to which hospital, we don't know at this moment. We will confirm that shortly."

ADRL officials pulled the plug on Friday evening's qualifying and will run the Battle for the Belts competition on Saturday.

RACING ACTION UNDERWAY

In the first matchup in Pro Extreme it is Jason Scruggs against Todd Tutterow and it was a wild ride.  Todd moves on with his 3.80 at 200 plus mph in the Mustang, but the action was in the other lane with Scruggs all over the place.  Jason did one hell of a job driving when the car got loose and shot towards the wall.  He pulled it back in time that it looked like only the wing hit the wall, then it went up on two wheels back across the track.  It shot back towards the wall and I believe the only thing that hit the wall that time was the headers.  We will be down for a little bit getting things cleaned up and some new timing blocks.

The Pro Nitrous Finals were kind of anti-climactic.  Castellana had trouble getting the car to fire and was unable to make the call.  Everyone was trying to get the car to fire, even Rickie Smith tried to help out.  Al-Balooshi made a single and laid down a 3.87 at 192 to get lane choice in the final.  In the other matchup Jim Halsey left first and looked to be pulling away with a 0.962 sixty foot but there was a small fire about half track and he lost power.  Burton Auxier sailed on down the track with a 4.00 at 183 and will have to step up to take out Al-Balooshi.

Jeff Naiser left on Spiro Pappas in the semi final matchup but Pappas runs his career best ET with a 3.96 at 193.  Jeff had to back out of it when he got close to the wall and it was over.  In the other semi final matchup it is the two biggest hitters with Billy Glidden against Chuck Ulsch.  Chuck leaves first with a .006 and Billy makes it up with a tenth of a second advantage in the sixty foot.  Billy had no shot at keeping up with Chuck on the back half of the track.  Billy ran a best of 4.02 at 180 mph against Chuck’s 3.956 at 202.  Chuck and Spiro should make a great final match up since their ET’s were so close in the semis.

Matt Hartford in his last ride in the Extreme Pro Stock ride has put it in the finals of the Battle of the Belts when Kirk turned on the red light.  Both cars ran 4.07's but Matt ran 178 plus mph and just needs to back it up for the record.  He will face Brian Gahm in the finals and Brian will need to back up his 4.056 that he ran in the semi-finals for the ET record.  This should be a fantastic final.

We have been down for a while with an oil down almost the length of the track, but it is now cleaned up and we are ready to go. One more bike to qualify then they will run Extreme 10.5 qualifying, then it is back to the semi-finals of the Battle of the Belts.

Micke

Mark Micke has been racing his ProCharger blown Camaro in the Extreme 10.5 class.  This weekend they have joined the Pro Extreme class so they can try and put more of the big block Chevy power to the track.  So far that has not gone so well for Mark since they are 35th in qualify so far with a 5.27 at only 126 mph.  I expect them to step it up, but this will be a hard field to make with 46 cars trying to make 16 spots.

Paulk2

Jeff Paulk made a good pass in the first round and ended up third.  He felt there was more in it so he was back in the pits after the first round making a gear change.  The gear change did just what Jeff thought it would and the car picked up.  The car laid down a 4.02 but Jeff was a little late with an unusual 0.258 light and lost to Naiser’s 4.03.

Dave_Pierce

Dave Pierce has shown up with a new car to him.  The Corvette he has been driving was a little heavy for ADRL Pro Nitrous Competition.  The team from Dave’s RV out of Oklahoma bought a 68 Camaro from the Al-Anabi team to replace the Vette.  They have qualified number 9 on the first hit in competition for them in the car with a 4.07 at 186 mph.

Wooten

Don Wooten has had a struggle trying to get his nitro injected car to run the way it should.  The car even bounced off of the wall a while back, but they are making some progress today.  They got the damage fixed but they still need to make a body shop for some paint.  They ran their fastest pass to date with a 4.03 at 193 and they are sitting in the number 14 spot in Pro Extreme.  I have a feeling they will need to pick up the pace to make the field and it will need to be in the 3 second zone.  Teams like Janis, Scruggs and several others are not in the field yet and we know they can lay down a number.

Titan

Gary White in the Titan Team Scion ran a 4.47 in the first round of qualifying, but they lost all oil pressure at about the 330 foot mark and got out of it.  I talked to Bottle in their pit while they were replacing the motor in the car.  He was a little concerned because the team has been going through a lot of parts lately, so they were running low on spare parts.  They were getting another engine ready to go in if they were to hurt the one going into the car now.

Vick_2Steve Vick is in the Battle for the Belts and he has to run in the seven versus eight matchup after only getting one shot at the track.  They were making some suspension changes before their matchup with alternate Pat Stoken.  Steve was unable to tell if the changes helped the car due to a small fire before staging and the car was pushed off.  Lets hope they can get things figured out before next round of qualifying but I am sure it is tough to be put out of the Battle of the Belts that way.

BG

Billy Glidden had trouble after his burnout earlier today, but they got the car pushed back in time to make a pass.  Billy and Shannon were inside the car making some changes to the trans and clutch.  If the track will keep some warmth in it I would expect to see a 3 second pass if it is needed and I would think if BG has to race Ulsch it will be needed.

 Moyer

I expected to see some action in Todd Moyer’s pit after first round, so I was surprised to see there was not much going on.  Todd was only able to run a 6.39 at 118 mph in the first round of Extreme 10.5.  I talked to the crew guys and they just felt they over powered the track on the first pass and the plan was to take a lot of power out and try it again.  If I am not mistaken they will get another shot at the track before the first round of the Battle for the Belts for them.

 Halsey_2

There are 24 cars on the round 1 qualifying sheet for the Pro Nitrous class.  Jim Halsey has been one of the fastest cars all year and today he put an exclamation point on the year with running the quickest pass ever.  He ran a 3.85 at over 195 mph and he is trailed by Rickie Smith who ran a 3.95 at 189 mph.

Pro_Extreme

You would expect a lot of race cars to show up for the ADRL Finals but I think most are surprised at how many Pro Extreme cars have shown up here in Texas.  The unlimited door slammer class has brought out a crazy 48 cars so far.  There are so many cars on the property here at Texas Motorplex our first round of qualifying lasted just under 5 hours.  We are now under way with the number seven verses the number eight qualifiers for the Battle for the Belts. You can see in the photo that just the Pro Extreme cars are backed up into the pits.

Millen

Dan Millen brought his NMRA Championship winning Mustang down from Michigan to take on the Extreme 10.5 class for the first time.  They weigh in at a hefty for the class 2650 pounds and a small 410 inch small block ford and a single turbo.  They are hoping to pick a sponsor for next year to compete in all of the ADRL events.  They feel like they can get more weight out of the car over the winter with some fabrication work.  The 4.26 at just a tick under 180 mph is the fastest the car has ever been.  Look for the team to pick it a little more though out the day.

Goforth

The Goforth Extreme Pro Stock team came loaded to dominate the Battle for the Belts.  I heard they were able to test at the track in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but no word if they made the test session at Crandall, Texas yesterday.  Dean laid down a 4.07 in the left lane and was the quickest car until Cary went a 4.06 at 177 in the right lane.  Looks like the Goforths are going to be a tough family to beat this weekend.

Paulk

Jeff Paulk made the haul from Georgia to Battle for the Belts in his Extreme 10.5 class.  With the cool temperatures, I caught him in the car putting some heat in the driveline.  Jeff laid down a 4.09 at 181 mph in round one of qualifying.

Angel

Angel Padilla is a well know Mustang racer in the area and he is here making his debut.  Angel is here in a fox bodied Mustang with a 632 inch big block to do battle in the Extreme 10.5 class.  Angel was pushed off before making it into the burnout box for the first round.

Reister

Doug Riesterer has had a tough year in 2009 but has made it out to the Finals.  Doug was involved in an accident at a TOPMA race with Frankie Taylor.  He has the Lenmar sponsored car here and there are still a few signs of the contact the car took.

Mobley

The Mobley Team looks like they came straight from the rained out Shake-Down at E-Town races.  They still have the Outlaw 10.5 2002 Camaro loaded up in the trailer her at the ADRL race.  Chuck Ulsch laid down a nice 3.97 at 201 on the first pass down the track.

Stevenson

Dan Stevenson has shown up for his first ADRL race in a beautiful 70 Camaro to race in the Pro Nitrous category.  They are from just outside of Chicago and were able to make a few test hits before making the trek to Dallas.

Glidden

Billy Glidden has show up more prepared to the gun battle with his Boss Hemi with a sheet metal intake and dual carbs instead of his trusty 400 inch small block with a cast intake and single carb.  I am betting we will see a three second pass out of the GTO today.

IMG_7382

We are getting the ADRL Finals kicked off here in Ennis Texas just outside Dallas with a chilly 57 degrees and a high of 62.  There is a steady cross wind but the sun is out.  Extreme Pro Stock are getting ready to head down the track now.  The bikes are also in the lanes and they are calling Extreme 10.5 to the lanes along with Pro Nitrous.  Tomorrow looks to be more of the same with a temp of 71, more sun and a light wind.
