NHRA Full Throttle racer Jeff Arend is reportedly the latest "big show" racer to throw his hat into the Bakersfield March Meet ring. Reportedly Dale Pulde called and offered the driving gig for his beloved War Eagle Pontiac while he recovers from Valley Fever, a disease which attacks the respiratory system. The combination of a long thought process and seeing that a bunch of his buddies are going to be there with Del Worsham and Ron Capps prompted him to accept the offer. Arend's only experience behind the wheel of a AA/FC was behind the wheel of Worsham's Blue Max tribute car in a Nike commercial shoot. Let the Bakersfield party begin!
