Team insiders at Don Prudhomme Racing have indicated there may be a serious problem with Top Fuel sponsor Skytel. According to our sources the senior executive at Skytel’s parent company who approved and backed the sponsorship effort has resigned, leaving the race team apparently without an internal corporate supporter.  The sponsorship was originally reported to be of at least 
two years duration, but there’s now reason enough for concern that Prudhomme and his team are already working towards finding a replacement should the program be cancelled at the end of the current season.  Don’t hang up.  This story is only in its opening chapter.
