With the silly season in full swing, it must be noted that one of drag racing's premiere tuners -- Alan Johnson -- is scheduled to complete his contract with Don Schumacher Racing at the conclusion of the 2007 season. Could one of the front-runners for his services be Evan Knoll?

Reportedly, a second Knoll-owned team could be joining the NHRA POWERade tour in 2008. If this one pans out, the NHRA Top Fuel division could have a familiar face returning to the tour full-time after running almost exclusively on the IHRA tour.
