ENDERS OUT, GLIDDEN IN FOR INDY

Torco’s CompetitionPlus.com has heard from an unimpeachable source that Pro
Stock driver Erica Enders will skip this coming weekend’s Mac Tools NHRA
U.S. Nationals. No reason was given for Ender’s absence, although she has
not had the
most successful season imaginable. Two other Pro Stock drivers who had been accepted for the field have also opted out, with one of them being long-time Indy hopeful Bill Shorts. With openings available Bill Glidden will now participate, driving a Pontiac Grand Am recently purchased from temporarily sidelined Mark Pawuk. Of particular interest in the Glidden case is that he’ll be on Mickey Thompson Tires in the company’s first venture into Pro Stock competition that we can recall. Joining Glidden on M/Ts will be Matt Scranton’s GM ride.
