Okay, follow along, Kiddies!  We’ve heard from reliable sources that a member of the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame has recently reached out to another member of the Hall asking about the racing hardware he still has for sale.  Our understanding is that no purchases have yet been made, as our first Hall of Famer continues to look around for bargains.  This record-setting racer is reportedly flush with revenue from natural gas well exploits, and is seriously contemplating a return to the professional ranks, although we suspect if he does come back it will be with a younger driver, but the car will still carry a winter theme.  A former racer close to the situation has suggested the Hall of Famer has been paying very close attention to what’s going on in racing, and is sharp enough to hit the ground running – if he decides to follow through.  The way it’s been explained to us is that money won’t be a problem once he makes the final decision to go racing again.
