clip image002 939Rob Atchison will return to Pro Modified Racing Association competition for 2013, and is hoping for more success in the Pro Modified series this season.

The three-time IHRA Funny Car champ ran a limited schedule with his Corvette Pro Modified in 2012, and for this season will once again divide his time between the Pro Modified and some Funny Car racing.

It’s business as usual, said Atchison, driver of the Atchison Racing Team. We have no big changes planned for this year. I think we have the car where we want it to be.

A Lenco three-speed transmission sits behind the engine.

Atchison will be entering his third year of PMRA competition, and once again Bob Atchison will act as crew chief. Others on the team include Kyle Harris, Fraser Evans, Dennis Smith, Mike Papoff, Maxine Atchison and Julie Atchison, and special thanks for the participation of Dave Bankes.
