Heavy rain has been falling all morning at England's Santa Pod Raceway, delaying the last day of qualifying for "The Main Event," the first round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championships.

The professional teams had two qualifying sessions on Saturday, however, and race officials still have not pulled the plug on today's activities, so the ladders for Sunday's elimination rounds will be set one way or another.

UPDATE: Officials have canceled today's qualifying sessions. Ladders will be set based on Saturday's results, and the elimination rounds will kick off at 9:30 Monday morning.
