Veteran sportsman racer Scotty Richardson had an accident during the recently completed NHRA Division 1 Lucas Oil Drag Racing event at New England Dragway in Epping, NH.

According to eyewitness accounts, the incident happened as Richardson crossed the finish line. The car drifted left, hit the wall and then rolled over.

According to eyewitness accounts, the incident happened as Richardson crossed the finish line. The car drifted left, hit the wall and then rolled over.

Richardson made a post on his Facebook page following the accident.
“Thanks again for the prayers & well wishes,” Richardson wrote. “A little sore but very thankful to be on the plane heading home to see the wife & kids. Hope every1 has Goodluck & is safe at the tracks today. I will get with every1 on Monday! Thanks again.”
