The performance at the 15th annual NHRA U.S. Nationals was unbelievable. It took a 6.75 just to qualify for the elite Top Fuel field. Top Gas Eliminator found the 32 carbon burners within two-tenths of each other.
Each one of the 16 Funny Car qualifiers was under the National Record. If you didn't turn a 7.55, you didn't make the field. Without a doubt, the multitude of 7.2's held the fans in complete awe.
