Registration is now under way for one of the most popular events among the NHRA drag racing family: the Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament.
 
The Eric Medlen Memorial Tournament, to be held Sept. 1 at Eagle Creek Golf Course in Indianapolis, benefits the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent. Now in its eighth year, the tournament has raised more than $350,000 thanks to the generosity of its supporters.
 
"Since the tournament started, we continue to have the same mission of honoring our friend Eric by helping the kids of Peyton Manning Children's Hospital," said Morgan Lucas, who co-hosts the event with wife Katie and Morgan Lucas Racing. "Katie and I can't thank the NHRA community enough for honoring Eric and supporting the tournament."
 
Proceeds from this year's tournament will again go to the St. Vincent House, a comforting, home-like atmosphere for St. Vincent patients and families. St. Vincent House serves as a home away from home for families, to give them peace and rest as well as emotional and spiritual refreshment and support.
 
Several sponsorship packages are available for the Medlen Memorial tournament:

Gold ($4,000): Includes entry fee for one foursome, company logo on golf carts, signage at one hole, recognition during awards ceremony, full-page ad in the event program, and a special Team Lucas package

Silver ($3,000): Includes entry fee for one foursome, company logo on golf carts, signage at one hole, half-page ad in the event program, and a special Team Lucas package

Bronze ($2,000): Includes entry fee for one foursome, signage at one hole, recognition in the event program, and a special Team Lucas package

Putting contest ($2,000): Includes signage on putting green, recognition in the event program, and a special Team Lucas package

Hole sponsorship ($500): Includes signage on one hole on each course and recognition in the event program

Closest-to-the-pin contest ($250): Includes signage on contest hole and recognition in the event program

Longest drive contest ($250): Includes signage on contest hole and recognition in the event program

Driving Range ($250): Includes signage on driving range, recognition in the event program, and a special Team Lucas package

Beverage Cart ($100): Includes signage on all beverage carts
