Heading into the NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle, Wash., the Don Schumacher Racing dragster driven by Leah Pritchett has a new crew chief.

Todd Okuhara, DSR director of racing, will serve as crew chief with Joe Barlam as the team’s assistant crew chief. Mike Guger has been released.

"We kept together as long as possible, and that was the goal,” Pritchett told NHRA.com. “While I'll miss Mike being part of this team on and off the track, I respect Don's [Schumacher] decision, and we will continue to push forward and make the best of every situation as we have had to do all season long."

Phil Shuler becomes the lone crew chief for Shawn Langdon.
