ARP QUESTION OF THE WEEK RESULTS - SURVEY SAYS ... GLIDDEN'S SHARPEST WAS THE ARROW

A man who was known for his triumphs behind the wheel of the Ford will always be remembered by the readers of CompetitionPlus.com for his one-year fling with Mopar.

In the most recent ARP Question of the Week poll, the majority of readers voted Bob Glidden's 1979 Plymouth Arrow was their favorite car of all time, beating out his "two-week wonder" and undefeated 1978 Ford Fairmont, 21-to-14-percent. The 1987, 1988 Ford Thunderbirds came in third, edging out the 1981 Ford Fairmont.

Facebook follower Marcus Erickson said it best when he offered, "The one year Mopar Arrow might be the defining car for Bob's career as it totally displayed his ability to win with a brand new bit of hardware. Like Byron Hines, Bob Glidden could apply the fundamentals of power production to any platform."
