The Go Fast Sports colors will fly on the Antron Brown-driven Matco Tools dragster during the 2008 NHRA season.

The partnership between David Powers Motorsports and Go Fast Sports delivers a retail distribution program with Matco Tools. Go Fast Sports has experienced a sudden rise in the energy drink market on a regional level and will now be sold on Matco Tools trucks providing national reach for the cutting-edge beverage company. “Go Fast Sports and Beverage Company is excited and proud to be part of the David Powers Motorsports team and sponsor of the Matco Tools NHRA dragster,” Go Fast Sports founder Troy Widgery said. “Driver Antron Brown and the entire Matco team epitomize everything we do here at Go Fast. Not only is Go Fast the best tasting energy drink on the market today, but it’s a lifestyle, a way of life, and the Matco team does that to the fullest. We hope to provide the “fuel” that the team and Antron need to Go Fast and be atop the podium this season.”

Brown, a 16-time NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle winner, was named driver of the Matco Tools dragster in November. The 31-year-old racer will prepare for the 2008 NHRA season with the Matco Tools Top Fuel team on Jan. 25 at Firebird International Raceway near Phoenix during the National Time Trials.

“I’m extremely excited about having the opportunity to partner up with Go Fast Sports,” Brown said. “You won’t find anything faster than a Top Fuel dragster, so Go Fast is the perfect fit for our sport of NHRA drag racing. Go Fast tastes great and will help fuel our race team to many wins during the season.”
