Electrolit, premium hydration products has joined Jim Dunn Racing in a promotion with Menards stores this summer.  With temperatures starting to warm up at race tracks, Jim Dunn Racing has aligned itself with the perfect sponsor to keep its team hydrated and ready for the challenges of NHRA drag racing.

Starting with the return of NHRA to Route 66 Raceway, Electrolit will join the team for a driver autograph session and Funny Car display at the Menards store in Joliet (2524 W. Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60435), on Thursday, May 18.  Driver, Alex Laughlin, will be signing autographs and the team will have its Nitro Funny Car on display at the store for fans to enjoy from 5:30-7:00 pm.

Long time team sponsor, DiPinto International Logistics will be making its primary graphics debut on the team’s Funny Car at Joliet.  The ever creative Jim Dunn Racing team has designed a scheme that will look great to fans at the track and those watching Fox Sports or streaming on NHRA.tv throughout the weekend.

Team Manager, Jon Dunn, recently provided an update on Alex’s progress as a rookie driver in the Nitro Funny Car ranks as well as the team’s progress toward getting owner Big Jim Dunn another win in the record books. “Alex advances his learning curve with every run in the Funny Car. We can see significant growth from his testing days in February to where we are now,” stated Jon Dunn.  “We are extremely confident in his driving ability to compete and win at this level.”
