FES LIGHTING JOINS KALITTA MOTORSPORTS AS PRIMARY AND ASSOCIATE PARTNER

Future Energy Solutions (FES) Lighting, a national "lighting-as-a-service" provider, is making its foray into sports marketing by joining the Kalitta Motorsports corporate partner family. The partnership positions FES as a primary partner on Shawn Langdon's Top Fuel dragster, marking the company's first sports marketing endeavor.

The collaboration was sealed in a recently-executed agreement between FES and Kalitta Motorsports. As part of the deal, FES will take the role of primary partner on Langdon's car at the NHRA Nevada Nationals, set to take place at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway from October 26-29, 2023. Additionally, FES will serve as an associate partner on both Langdon's and Doug Kalitta's Top Fuel cars, and its branding will be featured on all Team Kalitta support vehicles, starting with the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA Mike-High Nationals scheduled for July 14-16, 2023, near Denver.

Kalitta Air, an associated company, is currently undergoing a comprehensive lighting upgrade across its Oscoda and Ypsilanti facilities in Michigan. Inspired by this initiative, Kalitta Motorsports has decided to follow suit. The nine-month process will equip both organizations with state-of-the-art LED lighting, resulting in considerable financial savings.
FES believes that the partnership will provide significant value to Kalitta.

"We are thrilled that Kalitta have seen the value that FES can offer through our service, from energy and maintenance savings, reducing their carbon footprint, achieving an operational environment enhancement and obtaining energy and tax credits, all through the turnkey FES partnership," explained FES Chief Operating Officer Marcus Brodin. He added, "Not only will Kalitta see substantial financial and non-financial benefits from the day after the upgrade completes, they can achieve this utilizing FES' zero upfront cost LaaS model."

FES' Lighting-as-a-Service (LaaS) model offers businesses a cost-effective lighting solution with zero upfront capital expenditure. Under this model, FES installs and maintains a new high-efficiency lighting system for its customers at no upfront cost. A portion of the monthly energy savings resulting from the upgrade is then allocated towards the Lighting-as-a-Service program.

Kalitta Motorsports expressed excitement about the new partnership, highlighting the broader implications beyond racing.

"This new partnership is great news for Kalitta Motorsports, but it's so much more," said Team Kalitta General Manager Chad Head. "We welcome FES Lighting to our team, and we're honored that our race team is their first sports marketing partnership of any kind. We look forward to a long, rewarding relationship."

Head also emphasized the potential business-to-business opportunities that FES brings to the table.

"When our existing partners learn about FES and the money they can save by working with them like Kalitta Air and Kalitta Motorsports already are, there's not a doubt in my mind that FES will see incredible return on its Kalitta Motorsports investment," said Head.

The partnership between FES Lighting and Kalitta Motorsports represents a significant step forward for both entities. It not only strengthens the racing team's sponsor portfolio but also highlights the value and benefits that FES' lighting solutions can deliver to businesses across various industries.
