KALITTA, LANGDON TEAM UP FOR THE LAST RUN AT BANDIMERE WITH SEAL MASTER

Top Fuel racer Shawn Langdon has a relationship with Bandimere Speedway that spans all the way back to 1997 when he was a Junior Dragster racer. This weekend he will say goodbye to the picturesque facility with longtime Kalitta Motorsports marketing partner SealMaster.

Langdon, who has three titles at the track located outside of Denver, Co.,is gunning to add a second Top Fuel title alongside his 2013 crown and two Super Comp wins and Junior Dragster championship.

"You always hate to lose a race track, and Bandimere Speedway is one of my favorite tracks on tour," said Langdon. He praised the Bandimere family's efforts in promoting races and creating a family-friendly environment at the track. Langdon hopes that the loss of the track will only be temporary and a new race track will emerge in the future.

Langdon expressed gratitude for the unwavering SealMaster support.

"We're very happy to have them on the car as a full-season associate, but it's nice for them to have top billing this week," Langdon said. “The enthusiasm and support SealMaster provides to NHRA Drag Racing is greatly appreciated by Langdon and his team.”

Reflecting on their previous performance in Denver, Langdon highlighted the team's strong showing last year, where they reached the final round. Unfortunately, an oil leak dashed their hopes of victory. Determined to rectify this, Langdon expressed the team's collective desire to secure a win this year, adding, "We're definitely in a rut we'd like to get out of, and we know something has to click at some point."

Despite the challenges faced by his team, Langdon remains optimistic about their potential. "Our team shows flashes of its potential, but we just haven't been able to put it all together. Our time will come," he affirmed.
