PAUL LEE ROLLS INTO SONOMA WITH ZURN, DENSO SUPPORT

Paul Lee and his McLeod Racing Nitro Funny Car are returning to Sonoma Raceway with a new marketing partner, Zurn Elkay Water Solutions, and the support of long-time partner Denso. The team is gearing up for what they describe as a wide-open weekend, hosting a full hospitality event with partners Mainline Sales and Breen Design Group. With their tune-up progressing in the right direction, led by John Medlen and Jason Bunker, the team remains focused on achieving consistency.

Denso is a major sponsor of Paul Lee Racing and will have a significant presence at the race. Executives and guests from Denso will be there and the company's logo will also be prominently featured on the Funny Car, highlighting their partnership with Paul Lee Racing.

Dan Muramoto, Manager of the Marketing Department at Denso Products and Services Americas Inc., expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.

"Paul Lee has been a vital part of the NHRA for over 40 years," Muramoto said. "With over 50 years of innovative history in the U.S. automotive industry, Denso is proud to sponsor the Denso Sonoma Nationals through our partnership with Paul Lee Racing."

Paul Lee, the owner and driver of the McLeod Racing nitro Funny Car, is excited about the collaboration with Denso.

"We are thrilled to have Denso as our sponsor for the Denso Sonoma Nationals," Lee said. "They are our official spark plug partner, and we look forward to representing them on the racetrack and meeting their guests during this race weekend."

This weekend, Lee will also introduce Zurn Elkay Water Solutions to NHRA Drag Racing. Zurn Elkay specializes in professional-grade water control and safety products, including water distribution and drainage systems. Their branding will be prominently displayed on Lee's Funny Car, along with representation from Mainline Sales. Lee highlighted the importance of Zurn Elkay's water solutions for schools.

"Zurn Elkay offers water solutions for schools that give kids everywhere the chance to have cleaner and fresher water, which is amazing," Lee said.

The McLeod Racing team, under the guidance of John Medlen and Jason Bunker, has been making significant progress in recent races. Their work on engine parts in Norwalk demonstrated noticeable improvement, allowiing the team to continue their upward trajectory.

"With valuable input from John Medlen, our Jason Bunker-led team is showing clear signs of improvement," Lee said. "We just need more runs, and this weekend we hope to start shining. I'm thrilled to be back at Sonoma, one of my favorite races of the year, representing great partners like Denso, Zurn Elkay, Mainline Sales, and Breen Design Group."

In addition to Denso, Zurn Elkay and Breen, the Paul Lee Racing team is also supported by IGTG IT Consulting.
