World champions Tony Schumacher, John Force, Steve Torrence, Matt Hagan, Antron Brown, and a host of others are set to showcase their skills in the highly-anticipated Scag Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout, taking place from February 8th to 10th, 2024, at Bradenton Motorsports Park. This exclusive invitation-only event, featuring more than two dozen elite Top Fuel and Funny Car drivers vying for victory, brings to the game a $250,000 prize for the winners in each class; the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Alan Johnson, President of the Professional Racers Owners Organization (PRO), expressed his excitement about the event.

“Drag racing is obviously a super-exciting sport, and this event is going to give us the opportunity to showcase that in different ways,” said Alan Johnson, President of PRO (Professional Racers Owners Organization). “Nitro racing is a spectacle. These are the quickest and fastest cars in motorsports, and we’ve put together a list of drivers and teams that represent the best of Top Fuel and Funny Car. This is an exciting opportunity for them to race using a unique format.”

The Scag Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout will employ a 1,000-foot format for both Top Fuel and Funny Car categories. Drivers will have four qualifying sessions, with one taking place on Thursday, February 8th, and three on Friday, February 9th, to secure their spots in the highly-coveted eight-car fields. Pairings in the eliminations leading up to the final round will be determined through random chip draws.

For fans to witness the event, the official live stream on FloRacing will broadcast the PRO Superstar Shootout from start to finish, ensuring that every moment of high-octane racing can be experienced from the comfort of home.
