JOHN FORCE RACING INKS DEAL WITH CITGO AS ASSOCIATE SPONSOR

CITGO Petroleum Corporation has recently joined forces with John Force Racing, marking a significant partnership for the NHRA Drag Racing community. The partnership will officially kick off at the NHRA U.S. Nationals, where the highly recognizable CITGO CITGARD product logo will be proudly displayed. As part of the agreement, CITGARD will take on the role of an associate sponsor for John Force Racing, with a prominent spot on Brittany Force's Flav-R-Pac Chevrolet dragster.

"CITGO is a huge company, with products and brands everyone recognizes," Force said. "CITGO shares our values and our commitment to safety, integrity, accountability, and caring for our people, partners, and fans. We eagerly anticipate building a strong partnership with them."

Based in Houston, Texas, CITGO operates three state-of-the-art refineries in the Gulf Coast and Midwest regions, along with an extensive network of pipelines, terminals, and lubricant blending plants throughout the country. As a company with a long and illustrious history in motorsports, CITGO's entry into NHRA through its collaboration with John Force Racing and Brittany Force has garnered high praise.

Doug Fritz, the CEO of Fritz Sports & Events, expressed his honor to be part of this significant development within NHRA.

"CITGO is an iconic company with a rich history in motorsports. Their partnership with John Force Racing and Brittany Force is an exciting addition to NHRA. Their values and commitment align perfectly with the businesses and fans that support motorsports and the NHRA. We anticipate witnessing their growth within the sport."

The NHRA U.S. Nationals, drag racing's most prestigious event to be hosted at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park from September 1-4, will serve as the grand finale of the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series regular season. Following this event, NHRA's six-race playoffs, known as the NHRA Countdown to the Championship, will commence on September 14-17 with the Pep Boys NHRA Nationals in Reading, Pennsylvania. The playoff action will culminate with the NHRA Finals at the iconic In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip in Pomona, California.
