DRAG RACING'S BRACKET BONANZA HOLDING ITS OWN AS SEASON WINDS DOWN

Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB), the first dynamic bracket competition for drag racing fans is gaining momentum as it enters the final two Countdown playoff races of the 2023 season. Following the Texas Fall Nationals, which witnessed a surge in participation, DRBB looks to build on its record-setting success. The upcoming Nevada Nationals, taking place from October 27-29, will be followed by the highly-anticipated World Finals at In-N-Out Burgers Dragstrip in Pomona on November 10-12. Thousands of fans are currently relishing the free and enjoyable bracket-style online gaming experience offered by DRBB.

The Texas Fall Nationals saw the addition of five new winners to the DRBB record books. Tim I. from Fort Mohave, Arizona, achieved an impressive victory, setting a new record for the most points by a single player in the overall Texas Fall Nationals title, earning 111.92 points. Dee S. from Geneva, Illinois, claimed the Top Fuel honors, while Doug L. from Lake Alfred, Florida, emerged victorious in the Funny Car category. Ray W. from Hanover Township, Penn., and Noah C. from Indianapolis, Ind., secured the Pro Stock titles in their respective divisions. To date, DRBB has presented driver-signed plaques to 24 different fans hailing from all corners of the United States, spanning the U.S. Nationals and four Countdown playoff races.

Elon Werner, the creator of Drag Race Bracket Bonanza, expressed enthusiasm for the significant increase in participant enrollment during the Texas Fall Nationals.

“The Texas Fall Nationals saw another big jump in players signing up and filling out brackets on Saturday night and Sunday morning,” said Elon Werner, Drag Race Bracket Bonanza creator. “We got great support from track owners Christie Meyer Johnson and her husband Barry with multiple locations promoting Drag Race Bracket Bonanza. We also had our DRBB logos on several race cars including Justin Ashley, Josh Hart, Buddy Hull and Camrie Caruso.”

Notable Drag Race Bracket Bonanza signage was strategically positioned during the Texas Fall Nationals, capturing the attention of spectators. Promotional banners adorned the spectator entrance and the fan zone located behind the towering three-story building at the Texas Motorplex. Additionally, table toppers were arranged across the suites and the Champions Club, ensuring widespread exposure for DRBB.

As the Nevada Nationals approaches, DRBB is set to receive a considerable boost from NHRA with PA announcements and social media support. A large-scale marketing email blast will be sent to tens of thousands of NHRA fans, further fueling the momentum. Looking ahead, DRBB aims to enhance the user interface for the 2024 season, including the development of a dedicated app. The primary objectives of DRBB remain consistent—providing a captivating game for drag racing enthusiasts, generating increased fan engagement through social media interactions, and encouraging viewership of NHRA broadcasts on FOX and FS1. The active and visibly engaged community continues to grow, with Twitter and Facebook posts reflecting the excitement as fans eagerly follow the progress of their brackets.
