When the NHRA tour kicks off in Gainesville at the NHRA Gatornationals, it will feature a new team consisting of a Top Fuel car driven by Justin Ashley and a pair of Funny Cars driven by Tim Wilkerson and Dave Richards.

SCAG Racing has acquired ownership of both Maynard Ashley Racing as well as Maynard Wilkerson Racing. Funny Car racer Dave Richards is expected to run the full 2024 NHRA schedule with Versatran sponsorship.

SCAG Racing will continue its involvement with Elite Motorsports, with Jeg Coughlin Jr. driving a SCAG-sponsored car. Richard Freeman and Erica Enders will continue to represent the brand.
