Ford Performance has been named the title sponsor of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series fall race in Las Vegas. The 24th annual Ford Performance NHRA Nationals will take place Oct. 31-Nov. 3 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The event is the penultimate race of the 2024 NHRA season and the fifth of six in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs. Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle competitors will battle for championship implications.

“We’re excited to partner with Las Vegas Motor Speedway and NHRA on this event,” said Mark Rushbrook, global director of Ford Performance Motorsports. “Fans will enjoy a great show in Las Vegas.”

Las Vegas Motor Speedway President Chris Powell expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership, noting Ford Performance’s long-standing involvement in motorsports. Funny Car driver Bob Tasca III, backed by Ford Performance, is in the hunt for the championship after earning three wins this season, including one at the spring race in Las Vegas.

Last year’s winners in Las Vegas included Mike Salinas (Top Fuel), Robert Hight (Funny Car), Erica Enders (Pro Stock), and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle). This year’s race will air on FS1, with eliminations broadcast on Sunday, Nov. 3.
