THE NEXT GENERATION TINDLE ALREADY WINNING

tjtindle2.jpgEliminations are complete from the Gritz Blitz Jr. Dragster Nationals held this past weekend at South Georgia Motorsports Park.  T.J. Tindle, son of the 2007 NHRA Promod Rookie of the Year, took the number one qualifying position and went on to win the event.

"The competition was tuff and man it feels good to come home with victory," said Tindle.  During qualifying, the car felt pretty good, but it didn't really feel like a #1 qualifying pass. When I saw the time-slip, I was shocked."

Behind the wheel of his Whaley powered Half-scale dragster, T.J. Tindle ran a 4.26 to take the number one position.  Tindle defeated Matt Gillan on a hole-shot in the semi-finals and later defeated Alex Brandon on a hole-shot win in the finals.

"I want to thank mom, dad, Jim, Will, Whaley, and everyone that made this happen. I'm ready for the next race now."

T.J. Tindle's next race on the Gritz Blitz Outlaw Jr. Dragster Series is scheduled for May 17 in New Media, Pennsylvania.
