Flathead/Inliner Class
Over a dozen cars are presently entered in this exciting class, with entries from as far away as Virginia.
Badest of the Bad
This is a strictly heads-up class for anyone who wants to race a pre-1976 car. This is the only class where Nitrous Oxide is legal. We have pre-entries ranging from two 63 Corvette Pro Mods to a nostalgia legal 180 inch wheelbase rear-engined dragster with a blown Chevy small block.
Quick 100
In addition to these classes, there will be a dial-your-own Quick 100 for pre-1976 cars and trucks. This is a no electronics class (no delay or two step) but transbrakes and CO2 or electric shifters are permitted. Basic Good Guys rules and NHRA safety rules apply.
In addition to the racing and Saturday night Cackle Event, the Southern Nostalgia Shootout includes a car show with approximately 20 classes, a swap meet, and a car corral. Highlighting the car show is a special mega trophy for the best Muscle Car sponsored by Floyd Garrett’s Muscle Car Museum in Tennessee. There will be door prizes and a trick or treat for the kids on Saturday. Don’t miss the Southern Nostalgia Shootout. Drag Racing the way it used to be.
