Reportedly, a non-automotive sponsor has been procured and brings along with it a multi-year contract, something the series has never had before. Since 2002, Pro Modified has been fielded on a year-to-year basis.

CompetitionPlus.com has been told the series will also have a hospitality area for teams to entertain potential sponsors.

An entry fee will reportedly be involved, at least for 2009, but the rate has yet to be determined.

Matthew Brammer, administrator for the Pro Modified series, confirmed the sponsorship contracts are signed, and check has cleared the bank, but declined to divulge any further details.
