Competitors utilizing the specified Mopar contingency parts must display a Mopar contingency decal on each side of their race car. Drivers scoring an event win or runner-up finish qualify for financial awards from the Mopar Contingency Program. For example, an NHRA Super Stock class competitor campaigning with all five specified components of the Mopar Contingency Program has the opportunity to take home an additional $1,700 in prize money with an event win.

NHRA Full Throttle Pro Stock drivers, including Team Mopar driver Allen Johnson, are also eligible for contingency awards. Pro Stock drivers claiming an event win while utilizing a Mopar Engine Assembly can earn a $1,000 award, with $300 offered for a runner-up finish.

“Mopar understands the vital role of grassroots racers who continuously campaign with Mopar parts and display an unparalleled passion for the brand,” said Jim Sassorossi, Director, Global Parts Sales & Marketing – Mopar Parts. “Renewing the Mopar Contingency Program enables us to reward these devoted brand ambassadors who consistently demonstrate the winning power and performance of Mopar parts at the drag strip.”
