NOEPMA UPDATES SERIES LOGO

Thanks to Tommy Gray and Scott Cannon, the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association (NEOPMA) has updated their logo. Prior to April Logo-5-sec-240-new copy.jpg18th, the logo read "230 MPH, 6 SEC. ET'S." That's now obsolete. The new logo now says "240+ MPH, 5 SEC. ET'S," because those are the kinds of numbers that Gray in his "Undertaker" Camaro and Cannon in his "Modzilla" Firebird put on the board April 17-18 at Virginia Motorsports Park.

The season opener was a success for the NEOPMA in 2009, with a large field of Pro Mods, big name teams and drivers, and a well run event with no incidents or accidents. Many of the current and new drivers are excited about the growth of the association, and the fact that we run legal, quarter mile draws more and more teams looking for alternatives to Outlaw Pro Mod Racing. "We look forward to continued growth and alliances throughout the year" said John Mazzorana, President of the NEOPMA.

To clarify, the term "Outlaw" in the Association name should not be misinterpreted to mean outlaw racing, outlaw cars, outlaw motors, or any of its derivatives. To determine if a vehicle meets the requirements of Northeast "Outlaw" Pro Mods please refer to the rules page at http://www.neoutlawpromods.com
