Ricky Silva Racing and CLM Motorsports will enter the 2026 season with expanded backing, renewing a long-term relationship with Competition Clutch while adding Avery Dennison as a new partner. The dual announcement signals both continuity and growth for a team focused on performance gains and brand alignment.
The extension with Competition Clutch continues a five-year partnership that has supported the team’s development on and off the track. That relationship has been central to the program’s consistency, particularly in high-demand competition environments where reliability and precision are critical.
“Competition Clutch has been with us through some of our most defining moments,” said Ricky Silva, team owner and driver. “Their continued trust and commitment mean a great deal to our entire program. We’re proud to keep building on what has already been an incredible partnership.”
That continuity provides a foundation as the team introduces a new partner into the mix. It also allows the organization to evolve without disrupting the core elements that have contributed to its competitive stability.
“Ricky and his team are the epitome of a great brand ambassador,” said Krista Baldwin, Director of Marketing Competition Clutch. “It’s exhilarating to experience the success on and off the track with Ricky and CLM Motorsports. Ricky continues to carry the Competition Clutch brand as if it were his own and we love working with teams who are like family to us. Here’s to a great 2026 season!”
The addition of Avery Dennison introduces a new dimension to the team’s presentation and marketing strategy. Known for its expertise in graphics and film applications, the company is expected to enhance the team’s visual identity while aligning with its performance-driven approach.
“We’re excited to bring Avery Dennison into our program,” Silva said. “Their reputation for product excellence and innovation makes them a perfect fit for our team, and we’re looking forward to achieving great things together.”
The partnership reflects a broader trend in motorsports where branding and visual presence carry increasing importance alongside on-track results. Teams are leveraging partners not only for performance components but also for how they present to fans and sponsors.
“We are thrilled to partner with Ricky Silva Racing and CLM Motorsports for this racing season,” said David Korvah, Marketing Manager, Automotive, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions.
“At Avery Dennison, we understand the immense visual impact that color change and graphic vinyl films can have to enhance the Ricky Silva Racing and CLM Motorsports brands. Our goal is to ensure that no matter how much Ricky and his team push the boundaries of speed this year, their racecar will always be exciting to watch for fans. We wish the Ricky Silva Racing/CLM Motorsports Team much success this year. We’ll be watching too,” continues Korvah.
Avery Dennison branding will debut on the Competition Clutch Sport FWD Honda Civic at the Honda Day event at Maryland International Raceway on April 10-12. The rollout marks the first visible step in what both sides expect to be a collaborative relationship.
