A late restart was all Ryan Blaney needed to clear Kevin Harvick and speed to victory in an action-packed Hisense 4K TV 300 on Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Blaney led a race-high 107 of 200 laps and joined his father, Dave – who won in 2006 – as the first father-son duo to win NASCAR XFINITY Series races at Charlotte, and the sixth combination to win XFINITY Series races.

SiriusXM listeners will have access to the live call of “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” from Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 28, on Sirius channel 214, XM channel 209 and on the SiriusXM app.

Kevin Harvick was just too hot to cool down.

Harvick heated up a cool LiftMaster Pole Night evening on Thursday at Charlotte Motor Speedway by capturing his third pole position of the year. The two-time Coca-Cola 600 winner thrilled the crowd by setting a blistering, 193.424-mph lap to win the pole for the world’s toughest test of man and machine.

NASCAR announced today the inductees who will comprise the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2018. The five-person group – the ninth since the inception of the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2010 – consists of Red Byron, Ray Evernham, Ron Hornaday Jr., Ken Squier and Robert Yates. In addition, NASCAR announced that Jim France earned the Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame Voting Panel met today in a closed session at the Charlotte Convention Center to debate and vote upon the 20 nominees for the induction class of 2018 and the five nominees for the Landmark Award.

Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing and Wood Brothers Racing are honoring the team’s 1987 Coca-Cola 600-winning Ford Thunderbird at this year’s Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. The throwback paint scheme was revealed during today’s episode of “NASCAR America” on NBCSN.

Driven by Kyle Petty and sponsored at the time by Citgo, the 1987 Wood Brothers Ford won the 600 and finished in the top five on five other occasions. Petty scored a second at North Wilksboro and third-place finishes at Talladega, Pocono, Michigan and Riverside in 29 starts that season.

 It took Kyle Busch 12 years to win the Monster Energy All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but one move on Brad Keselowski in Saturday's final segment did the job.

Busch passed Brad Keselowski and Segment 3 winner Jimmie Johnson on the Segment 4 restart and pulled away to become the 23rd driver to win an All-Star Race. Busch prevailed over polesitter Kyle Larson – who dominated the first two segments, but restarted fourth for Segment 4 after Keselowski did not pit. Busch’s victory, coupled with his win in Friday’s N.C. Education Lottery 200, made it a weekend sweep.
