CP SPORTSMAN VIDEO - 1978 NHRA SPORTSNATIONALS

8-12-11cptv_modified
Travel back in time to an era when sportsman racing meant all-out competition from start to finish. There were no electronics, no cat and mouse battles down the track, and you had to win class.

Thanks to YouTube.com, we are proud to bring you the Diamond P video production of the 1978 NHRA Sportsnationals from Beech bend International Raceway in Bowling Green, Ky.

This video feature Pro Comp eliminations when the AA/DA dragsters and BB/FCs battled it out under the same umbrella.  You’ll also see Comp eliminator and one Pro Stock legend racing his Mopar. The high-winding and gear-jamming Modified cars do battle as well.

You’ll also see more than a fair share of Stock and Super Stockers.

The video is a little rough in the first part but the sound is incredible. If you’re an old school sportsman drag racing fan, you’ll be in Heaven for at least an hour.
