DRAG RACERS SUPPORT MAKE-A-WISH

In an effort to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Standard 1320, a
group of dedicated drag racers have received helmets donated by two
noted Drivers, Jim Murphy and Mike Boyd. Murphy wore his donated helmet
during his third March Meet win in 1999.  Boyd’s helmet has been signed
by many of the leading figures in drag racing.  All proceeds will then
go to the Make-A-Wish group to use as they see fit.

NHRA PRO MOD FEATURES 10-RACE SCHEDULE

The popular AMS Staff Leasing Pro Modified Challenge announced its final 2007
racing schedule, series director Matthew Brammer said Wednesday. In addition,
Tindle Enterprises joined the Series as the presenting sponsor at all 10
events.

"We have been working with the schedule to identify the best
markets to include on the schedule, and with the new dates on some of the
events, I think the schedule will be both challenging and exciting," Brammer
said.

"We've added the Southern Nationals in Atlanta to the agenda this
year, and the drivers have all said they are excited to race in what they call
'the backyard of Pro Mod,'" he said.

Five-time NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster World Championship winning car owner Jack
O'Bannon has announced his intentions to switch his son Sean's Top Alcohol
Dragster team to Top Alcohol Funny Car following the performance of the A/Fuel
combination at this past weekend's CARQUEST Auto Parts Winternationals at Auto
Club Raceway at Pomona. O'Bannon was the second quickest blown alcohol car in
the field with his Tequila Patrón/Forest River RV's entry with a 5.339, only to

ADRL ADDS MOTORCYCLES

The unprecedented growth of the
Flowmaster American Drag Racing League will
continue in 2007 with the
addition of the Pro Extreme Motorcycle class, the
ADRL's fourth
points-earning class and first foray into two-wheeled
racing.

Pro Extreme Motorcycles will compete at six ADRL events this
season:
Montgomery, Valdosta, Huntsville, Norwalk, Rockingham, and the
season-
ending GetWorkComp.com World Finals in Ennis. Just like the ADRL's

existing competitions in Pro Extreme, Pro Nitrous, and Extreme 10.5,

the Pro Extreme Motorcycle class will compete for points, coveted
Iron
Eagle national event trophies, prize money, and will send its
top eight
points-earners into the Battle for the Belts competition in
Ennis to
determine its 2007 champion.

BERNSTEIN TESTING IN VEGAS FOLLOWING POMONA DNQ

The CARQUEST Auto Parts Nationals debut of the Monster Energy/Lucas Oil Funny
Car did not reap the results owner/driver Kenny Bernstein had
anticipated.

Despite a
valiant effort from the team, the six-time champion narrowly missed a berth in
the quickest Funny Car field in NHRA history, with a best clocking of 4.847
seconds at 321.81 mph. It ended a 91-race streak for
Bernstein.

CARPENTER SIGNS NEW SPONSOR

In this era of constant shuffling of teams, drivers, crews, and sponsors in the
sport of drag racing, a long-term partnership can be a rarity. This makes Pro
Modified legend Charles Carpenter’s re-signing of major associate sponsor Custom
Autosound Mfg. for an almost unheard of 17th
consecutive season all the more special.

“We are thrilled to have Carl Sprague and Custom Autosound
back on board with us, just as they have been for the better part of two
decades,” said Carpenter. “We are excited about this season’s new direction, and
I am extremely happy Custom Autosound has made the decision to support us for
yet another season.”

DE JORIA GAINS VALUABLE EXPERIENCE

NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car rookie Alexis De Joria gained valuable experience
from this past weekend's CARQUEST Auto Parts Winternationals at Auto Club
Raceway in Pomona.  The rookie missed the cut in her first start behind the
wheel of the Tequila Patrón/Jack
O'Bannon Racing Camaro, but posted career-best numbers along with collecting
valuable seat time.

De
Joria, 29, of Venice, Calif., ran a career best 5.990 second elapsed time at
230.33 mph in her Randy Anderson tuned machine.  Despite missing the 5.788 bump
to make the quick 16, De Joria feels the weekend was a big step in her
development.
