TEXAS ROADHOUSE TO SPONSOR NOTHSTEIN

Frank Parker, owner of ParkerTech Racing Services, and his driver,
Marty Nothstein, have announced that Texas Roadhouse restaurants will
be the primary sponsor of Parker’s 2007 National Hot Rod Association
Top Alcohol Funny Car team. 

ParkerTech’s upgraded Murph McKinney chassis will be topped by a 2007
Dodge Charger body, from Mopar, and driven by Olympic and World
Champion Nothstein. The Texas Roadhouse Dodge Charger Top Alcohol Funny
Car will debut February 17th at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series
Division 2 event at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida.

DOBSON LEADS AUSSIE SUMMERNATS QUALIFYING

Alan Dobson, West Australian native and the driver of the Rapisarda Racing Top
Fuel dragster recorded the quickest run of his career with a 4.601-second pass
to claim the number one qualifying position going into tomorrow's final
eliminations of the fourth Summernationals prese nted by NRMA Motoring +
Services.

"I've wanted to make a return to Sydney and I couldn't think of
a better place to do it than at WSID - truly a world class facility," exclaimed
Dobson.

TIM MCAMIS RACE CARS BECOMES ADRL AND IHRA SPONSOR

Tim McAmis Race Cars announced the implementation of their
2007 sponsorship packages with IHRA & ADRL. The program will include
contingency payouts for the TMRC line of composite bodies and also the ability
to be on the manufacturers’ midway with their new support/display trailer.

HANNA AND CLACK READY FOR 2007

With Mardi Gras right around the corner, the Clack Motorsports NHRA Top Alcohol
Funny Car team will debut their new sponsor, The Big Easy Daiquiri Factory at
this weekend's Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series opener at Houston Raceway
Park.  The team is entering it's second full year of competition with driver
Will Hanna, who started racing at HRP at the age of 13.
 
Hanna, 28, of nearby Richwood, Texas, hopes to
start the year with a bang at his home track.

FORCE HEADED TO DAYTONA

John Force, a 14-time NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series Funny Car world
champion and one of the greatest ambassadors for all motorsports, is visiting
Daytona International Speedway today, site of Sunday's Daytona
500.

Force, who has earned an NHRA record 122 victories and 131 No.
1 qualifying positions during his legendary career, will meet with
media and NASCAR drivers and team owners during his trip to the
historic NASCAR superspeedway.

THE 50-YEAR OLD ROOKIE

When the right opportunity to go NHRA Pro Stock racing came along, Bill
Windham decided the time was right.

 

“I’m not getting any younger,” said Windham Wednesday, shortly before celebrating
his 50th birthday.  “I guess
I’ll be the oldest rookie in Pro Stock. 
I may be starting my new career at 50, but I am young at heart and have a
lot of energy.  I’m ready to have a
20-year career.”

DRAG RACERS SUPPORT MAKE-A-WISH

In an effort to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Standard 1320, a
group of dedicated drag racers have received helmets donated by two
noted Drivers, Jim Murphy and Mike Boyd. Murphy wore his donated helmet
during his third March Meet win in 1999.  Boyd’s helmet has been signed
by many of the leading figures in drag racing.  All proceeds will then
go to the Make-A-Wish group to use as they see fit.

TORCO TO SPONSOR NHRA JOLIET RACE

Torco Racing Fuels, a leading manufacturer of high performance fuels, has
signed a multi-year agreement with NHRA to become the title sponsor of the NHRA
POWERade Drag Racing Series event held in the Chicagoland area, NHRA officials
announced today.

The 10th annual Torco Racing Fuels
Route 66 NHRA Nationals, June 7-10, is the 10th of 23 events in the
NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series. The event, held at the Route 66 Raceway in
Joliet, Ill., has produced some of the fastest times and speeds in motorsports
history. It will be televised by ESPN2 and ESPN2 HD.

NHRA PRO MOD FEATURES 10-RACE SCHEDULE

The popular AMS Staff Leasing Pro Modified Challenge announced its final 2007
racing schedule, series director Matthew Brammer said Wednesday. In addition,
Tindle Enterprises joined the Series as the presenting sponsor at all 10
events.
 
"We have been working with the schedule to identify the best
markets to include on the schedule, and with the new dates on some of the
events, I think the schedule will be both challenging and exciting," Brammer
said.
 
"We've added the Southern Nationals in Atlanta to the agenda this
year, and the drivers have all said they are excited to race in what they call
'the backyard of Pro Mod,'" he said.
