ROYAL PURPLE AND STANFIELD TO SUPPORT ST. JUDES

Royal Purple® is pleased to announce its second year as an associate
sponsor of Greg Stanfield for the 2007 NHRA Pro Stock series. But, that’s not
all. In addition to their sponsorship agreement, Stanfield and Royal Purple will
be teaming up to make a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. They will be
creating and selling posters with Greg and his racecar at both the Royal Purple
website (http://www.royalpurple.com/) and on the
NHRA trailer where Greg’s shirts are sold.  All of the proceeds will be donated
to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at the end of the season.

ADRL 10.5 CLASS CHANGES

After several weeks of trying to create a set of rules that would
result in a level playing field for its newest professional class, Pro
10.5, the Flowmaster American Drag Racing League competition committee
announced today a major twist to its version of the ultra-popular 10.5
cars. Beginning with the first event of 2007, there will be no
performance or minimum weight
restrictions on the 10.5 cars that run in the ADRL.

The 10.5 cars will continue to be required to meet all of the ADRL's
safety and appearance requirements. In addition, all 10.5 cars running
in the ADRL must have working headlights and tail lights, mufflers, and
working suspension. A complete set of rules will be available in the
rules section at www.adrl.us in the coming days.

industry.

NEW ENGLAND DRAGWAY CONVERTING TO COMPULINK FIBER OPTIC TIMING SYSTEM

New England Dragway, home of the Amalie Oil North American Nationals, is
updating its Compulink Timing System to the company’s new, cutting-edge fiber
optic set-up. The fiber optic configuration will replace the old copper wiring
that has been used in timing systems for decades.

“This is really
important for any national event track facility,” said Joe Lombardo of New
England Dragway, IHRA’s 2006 Track Operator of the Year. “We all have an
obligation to upgrade and be sure national event technology is the same for all
competitors. In addition, our regular racers will benefit by having a more
reliable system every weekend that’s easier to maintain and less likely to
suffer problems from lightning.”

TROXEL TO DRIVE VETERAN'S TRIBUTE DRAGSTER

tf-pow-warveterens_close.jpgDrag racing philanthropist Evan Knoll will deliver a long overdue salute to
America’s military veterans during the 2007 NHRA POWERade Series season using an
8,000-horsepower Top Fuel dragster as his billboard. Knoll will honor all
Vietnam Veterans with the entry driven by popular Melanie Troxel, which will
compete in all 23 NHRA POWERade Series races this season.

Knoll has
dedicated this car to the memory of the 58,195 soldiers, sailors, airmen and
Marines who gave their lives in the line of duty in the Southeast Asia theatre
along with the 304,704 who were wounded in action. All told, almost 1.6 million
members of the United States military saw combat action during the conflict. The
highest troop concentrations reached 543,482 during April of 1968.
