RUMOR MILL - A PS DRIVER GOING BIG MONEY BRACKETS? IT'S NOT WHO YOU THINK IT IS EITHER

One would expect Jeggie Coughlin or Bo Butner to end up bracket racing, but word comes to us that another Pro Stock driver will try his hand at the big money bracket races. Apparently, Vincent Nobile, from what we've heard, has gone all-in by purchasing a toter-home and a trailer big enough to carry multiple dragsters. He will have a teammate, we are told as well.

RUMOR MILL: WHO'S MOVING IN BROWNSBURG?

Word has it that a crew whose program ended at the end of the 2020 season will pack their bags and head a few buildings over to Cruz Pedregon Racing for 2021. We are told this move could be finalized as early as tomorrow.

RUMOR MILL - A CHANGE OF ADDRESS?

Don't be surprised if one nitro team in Brownsburg, Ind., has a new address for the 2021 season. This is the first of several pieces in the silly season puzzle expected to materialize from what we hear.

Multiple sources, including motorcycle-oriented drag racing website eatmyink.com, have said the Harley-Davidson program has completed its contract and will not return to race with Vance & Hines for 2021. We have reached out to a member of the Vance & Hines team but have yet to hear back.

Our friends over at Nitro Reports shared a doozie of a rumor we'd heard about three-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart.

Stewart, who has been hanging around the NHRA pits lately, is said to be planning to climb behind the wheel of a Top Fuel dragster soon. He's reportedly been buying safety equipment and planning a visit to the Frank Hawley Drag Racing School.

A REPLACEMENT FOR LOST MAJOR NHRA SPONSOR WAITING IN THE WINGS?

The rumor mill has been working overtime since NHRA revealed series sponsor Coca-Cola had opted not to fulfill the contract which was to run through 2023. Then this item popped up on our Twitter feed. It sure would be a major positive in the midst of a 2020 which has been very unkind to the world.

RUMOR MILL: HOW IS THIS SUPPOSED TO HELP?

Not sure how this will stimulate growth within the nitro racing community, but we are told the NHRA’s official fuel supplier will bill teams $1680 per 42 gallon drums.

We just wonder how this kind of a price from an official fuel supplier when many of the teams are racing for a reduced purse helps at a challenging time for teams.

RUMOR MILL - ANSWERS FROM JOHN FORCE RACING?

It's the 800-pound gorilla in the corner of the room which no media outlet wants to touch without confirmation. Will John Force Racing be at the back-to-back Indianapolis events or even at all this season?
