Much has been speculated about the Gray Brothers and their plans to run Pro Stock in 2016. While Gray hasn't confirmed he will step aside in 2016, and wouldn't speak for brother Jonathan's plans, could Jonathan be headed for Pro Modified?

There's a major buzz in the nitro pits suggesting one of the racers this weekend at the NHRA Toyota Nationals will assume the color commentary position to be vacated by Mike Dunn for the 2016 transition over to Fox Sports. 

Sources indicate John Force will have a new to drag racing sponsor at this weekend's NHRA Toyota Nationals in Las Vegas, a one-race deal, and the experience we are told will be enlightening.

AJ/LANGDON TO TEXAS -BASED TOP FUEL TEAM?

Some might call it groovy, Others might say far out! But from what we hear, the drag racing community will be blessed with a three-race deal on the dragster driven by JR Todd, starting in Charlotte. Reportedly the dragster will pay homage to one of the 1960s rock and roll legends.

While there are rumblings of a possible eighth team in the works for Don Schumacher Racing, what we can say for sure about next week's Open House announcement is the primary purpose of the expansion is expanding the shop to better fit their operation better and definitely expanding the machine shop.
