AARON STANFIELD WINS PRO STOCK TITLE AT NEW ENGLAND NATIONALS

This was not Aaron Stanfield's first NHRA Pro Stock Wally, but he is going to cherish the second one just the same.

Stanfield won his second by beating world champion and No. 1 qualifier Greg Anderson in the finals of the Tascaparts.com New England Nationals Sunday.

STANTON DOMINATES ADRL PX IN SEASON OPENER AT ST. LOUIS

Bubba Stanton dominated from pillar to post in the season opener of the CBD American Shaman 2021 ADRL Tour Saturday night at World Wide Technology Raceway outside of St. Louis, taking the Minuteman trophy in the Carolina Precision Machining Pro Extreme class against Missouri native Jon Stouffer.

In one of the best races of the Aegis Home Protection ADRL Gateway Drags presented by dragracingforkids.org, Stanton edged Stouffer in the final round, his 3.644-second pass at 209.14 mph topping Stouffer's run of 3.681 seconds at 204.29 mph. Both laps were the quickest of the weekend for both drivers, with Stanton's run topping his Q3 pole-winning ET of 3.657 seconds.

WINNERS CROWNED AT THE INAUGURAL NMRA FORD NATIONALS

 

Hosted at the iconic Summit Motorsports Park, the fourth stop on the 2021 Holley NMRA Ford Nationals drag racing tour was the Inaugural NMRA Ford Performance Nationals on June 11-13 in Norwalk, Ohio, and the weekend wound down the fields in over a dozen classes to finish out strong with memorable winner’s circle celebrations

Continuing his number one qualifying streak from St. Louis in Norwalk as well, Tony Hobson’s name topped the order for NMRA VP Racing Madditives Street Outlaw as his ProCharged 1990 Ford Mustang ran out the back door to go 4.353 at 165.01 mph. The Lake St. Louis, Missouri, resident took on John Urist in his Hellion Turbo 2015 Mustang, and although Urist had the hole shot advantage, he spun not long into the run and Hobson powered past to conclude another event with a win as his 4.422 at 164.81 mph time slip made things official.

J. FORCE, B. TORRENCE & STANFIELD ALL GET WINS AT NEW ENGLAND NATIONALS

In a thrilling final round between teammates, the legendary John Force knocked off Robert Hight in Funny Car at New England Dragway, powering to his 153rd career victory on Sunday at the TascaParts.com NHRA New England Nationals presented by Bandero Premium Tequila.

Billy Torrence (Top Fuel) and Aaron Stanfield (Pro Stock) also won in their respective categories at the sixth race of the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season.

ANDERSON, B. TORRENCE. HAGAN TAKE TOP SPOTS DURING QUALIFYING AT NEW ENGLAND NATIONALS

After a one-race absence at the top of Pro Stock qualifying, points leader Greg Anderson returned to his familiar perch in 2021 on Saturday at New England Dragway, racing to the No. 1 position at the TascaParts.com NHRA New England Nationals presented by Bandero Premium Tequila.

Billy Torrence (Top Fuel) and Matt Hagan (Funny Car) also qualified No. 1 in their respective categories at the sixth race of the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season.

PRO STOCK STANDOUT GREG ANDERSON SNARES FIFTH NO. 1 QUALIFYING SPOT AT NEW ENGLAND NATS

Greg Anderson has had an incredible 2021 season so far and nothing has changed with that narrative this weekend at the sixth race of the year in Epping, N.H.

Anderson clocked a 6.526-second elapsed time 209.10 mph to grab the top qualifying spot at the Tascaparts.com New England Nationals Saturday in the second qualifying session.

BILLY TORRENCE PROVISIONAL NO. 1 TOP FUEL QUALIFIER AT NEW ENGLAND NATS

It's no surprise that a Torrence was atop the qualifying ladder at an NHRA Camping World Drag Series event.

The latest Torrence is Billy Torrence, who clocked a 3.744-second elapsed time at 324.98 mph to take the provisional No. 1 position at the Tascaparts.com New England Nationals Friday night in Epping, N.H.
