Drivers from over 40 states are expected to gather at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the 10th Anniversary Moser Engineering Spring Fling Million presented by OPTIMA Batteries from April 1-5. The event will feature high-stakes bracket racing highlighted by the richest payout in the Fling Race Series.
Three races with a $30,000 top prize are scheduled for Silver State Refrigeration Wednesday, Laris Motorsports Insurance Thursday, and FTI Performance Saturday. The Silver State Refrigeration Million Dollar Friday will feature a guaranteed minimum purse of $200,000, which could reach up to $1,000,000 depending on the number of entries.
“We’re expecting a big one,” said promoter Peter Biondo. “My phone has been blowing up more than ever. That’s usually a good sign.”
Fans can watch all the action live on the @RaceTheFlings YouTube channel throughout the week, courtesy of Hoosier Racing Tires and JEGS Performance. The in-house production crew will operate three roaming cameras to provide multiple viewing angles for online viewers.
To celebrate the event’s 10th anniversary, former main event winners and runners-up can participate in the MrCool DIY Direct King of the Fling Million $10,000 shootout at no cost.
Participants and their families can enjoy the full Fling experience with over $60,000 in giveaways available on-site. The best losing packages in rounds 1-4 will receive $500 on the spot during the Triple $30K races and $1,000 during Friday’s main event, thanks to sponsors including Panella Race Engines, RAD Torque Systems, ATI Performance Products, and Kidd Performance. Additionally, Hoosier will present the Round 5 best losing package winner with a set of slicks.
Anyone who buys back in from Wednesday through Saturday will receive free ice cream from Cascade Truck Body & Trailer Sales. The Fling Kids Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday will offer prizes for the whole family, including Razor scooters, RC cars, toys, and gift cards for parents.
