In a landmark moment, Tyler Wells claimed his first big car victory in Top Sportsman. The 16-year-old, licensed to compete just recently, triumphed over Todd Stallbaumer, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Keith Youngblood won the Top Dragster class after defeating Kati Laughter. The Pennington family watched proudly as their car celebrated the victory.

Jim Whiteley achieved the quickest run of the weekend in Funny Car, winning against defending champion Steven Macklyn with a time of 3.608 seconds. Whiteley also secured the number one qualifier spot with a time of 3.622 seconds.

The Pennington family completed a clean sweep in the Junior classes, with Karlee Brundidge winning Race Star Wheels Pro Juniors and Jovee Brundidge taking Zimmerman Sportsman Juniors. Kenzie Wells also earned recognition with two round wins in Pro Juniors.

In the No Time 28 category, Lance Knigge captured the win, but Roy Allen’s impressive driving stole the show after he avoided a serious crash following a mechanical failure. Allen’s quick reflexes showcased exceptional car control amidst chaotic conditions.
