The International Hot Rod Association is set to host the IHRA Hot Rod Classic, promising big payouts and an exciting atmosphere for participants. In collaboration with sponsors like Don Baskin Truck Sales LLC and Hoosier Tire, the event will feature substantial cash prizes and unique trophies and medals for winners in various categories.

“We wanted to bring back a little of the history of IHRA, but we don’t want to forget our grassroots racers,” IHRA Owner and CEO Larry Jeffers said. “That’s why the bracket and junior racers will always be part of our programs.”

Top Dragster and Top Sportsman payouts include $3,000 for the winner and $1,000 for the other finalist. Quick Rod, Super Rod, and Hot Rod have $ 2,000 to win prizes and $750 for the runner-up; Real Steel N/T racers will compete for $5,000 for the winner and $1,000 for the runner-up.

A Pro Modified division will be part of the show as well.

In addition to the professional categories, bracket racers can compete for substantial cash rewards in 64-car shootouts across multiple divisions.

The races will be streamed live on the IHRA-TV channel on YouTube at no cost to viewers.
