Talk about taking Super Gas racing to the next level.
Roy and Keith Raftery’s new C7 Corvette Roadster is what happens when the 9.90 division crosses paths with the ingenuity of Pro Modified.
The titanium-infused roadster is the brainchild of Jerry Bickel Race Cars, a shop known for its Pro Modified technology prowess, and weighs a feather-light 2000 with the driver. It is cloaked in a Cynergy Composites Gen 2 carbon fiber C7 Corvette which is fully removable. The Jerry Bickel chromoly chassis has a Bickel four-link with a 2.00 Inch Pro Sway Bar System. It has a Jerry Bickel-fabricated sheet metal rear-end housing. Even the wishbone is chromed.
Safety-wise, the car has a Simpson 8’ air launcher parachute, ISP pour-in seat, Taylor SFI rollbar padding, Safecraft 5lb fire suppression system, and a JBRC carbon fiber engine oil containment device.
The beauty features Jeff Hoskins Body work, paint, and custom bodywork.
