Gregg Racing will kick off the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods-Lucas Oil season at the Lucas Oil Winternationals from March 27-30 at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. Team owners Gregg and Robbie Lawrence, along with driver Jerry Kumre Jr., are eager to begin the new season.
“Jerry came onboard in 2024, and the team ran a limited schedule to get acquainted,” said team owner-crew chief Gregg Lawrence. “We couldn’t have been happier with how things went regarding our communication and Jerry’s ability to handle the car.”
The team plans to compete at Pomona, Las Vegas, and the Woodburn Regional before evaluating their performance and competing at the Seattle National, Las Vegas, and the Pomona World Finals to conclude the season.
Gregg Racing has announced that Champion Home Builders will sponsor the Commercial Business Machines injected nitro dragster for the first two events, Pomona and Las Vegas. “We are so happy and honored to have Champion Home Builders entrust Gregg Racing to represent their line of Manufactured Homes,” said driver Jerry Kumre Jr.
With 2025 marking their 25th year in Top Alcohol Dragster, the team aims to introduce NHRA fans to the manufactured home industry.

Gregg Racing extends gratitude to long-term supporters Commercial Business Machines, Eugene William Asphalt LLC, Taylor Motorsports, and Sterling Homes & Investments.
